About Me
Hello, my name is Cheryl L. Robinson. I am currently a Senior, at Georgia State University pursuing a degree in Social Work.
I currently have a Associate in Social Work from Georgia Perimeter College and a Associate in General Studies from Central Texas College. After I graduate, I would like to work with in the field of Gerontology. I am currently pursuing a Undergraduate Certificate in Gerontology from Georgia State University. I think it will be a rewarding field to work in because I also have my skills as a social worker to assist to as I assist my elderly clients.
I am the mother of two teenage young adults, who are currently pursuing their dreams while encouraging their mom. Being a non-traditional student can be a little trying but I know my children always have my back with a word of encouragement.
In 2008, I retired from 20 plus years of military service. I enjoyed serving my county. It is not for everyone but if can teach you valuable lessons in life that you can share with others when your military service tine is over. The military also afforded my family and I plenty of adventures to many beautiful foreign lands that I hope one day to revisit in my golden years.
